Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had this unstoppable need to create and tell stories. Back then, it was through stick-figure comics, but everything changed the day my dad brought home a film camera. Of course, I “borrowed” it without asking and burned through all the rolls of film. Fast forward a few years, I spent my days skateboarding with friends, going to school, and making music—playing bass in our teenage punk rock band. But life took a turn when I lost my dad at 16. I dropped out of school and started working my first job to help support my family.

This all started back in Mexico. I wanted to see if photography was the path I wanted to take, all while juggling work and studying Radiology and Medical Imaging at university (I know, quite the contrast). Once photography started to take shape, I began booking my first professional sessions. Little by little, I realized an office or hospital wasn’t where I wanted to spend my days.

So, I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: I dropped out of university, quit my job, and went all in on my passion. That decision took me to places I never could have imagined—traveling across 22 of Mexico’s 32 states and visiting 17 different countries, including Cuba, France, Iceland and Egypt

Eventually, I married Denisse, my girlfriend since we were 16, and together we made the bold move to the United States. Starting over was tough. In Mexico, I had a well-established brand, a network of friends, and clients who had become like family. Here, we knew no one—no friends, no contacts—but I knew that if we could build something once, we could do it again.

I brought just one camera and one lens from Mexico, leaving the rest of my gear behind, and we began this new adventure. Over the past four years, we’ve experienced incredible moments and connected with so many cultures. From Indian and Persian weddings to Jewish and Arab celebrations, we’ve traveled across the U.S., meeting amazing people along the way.

I absolutely love what I do. Sure, it’s not always easy, and the challenges can feel overwhelming at times, but I truly believe that what I do matters. Capturing and preserving the happiest, most vulnerable moments for the people who trust me with their stories is what drives me. That’s my greatest motivation—creating something invaluable that will be cherished for a lifetime.
